We had four contrasting bands to entertain you - see below. It was a great day of music with fantastic crowds. Now book your tickets for Festival in October.

11am Lambeth Wind Orchestra

Lambeth Wind Orchestra is based in Herne Hill. LWO performs a varied programme of music of music for band. Their performances take place on bandstands around London, including Clapham Common, and Battersea Park, and at their own concerts.

12pm Julian Costello

Julian Costello, sax and Patrick Naylor, guitars/loops will be playing tunes from Julian's forthcoming album, Transitionsreleased in September on 33 Jazz Records. Expect colours, jamming and memorable tunes.

1pm Bromley Youth Music Trust Saxophone Quartet

Made of four grade 8 players aged 17-18, the group was formed a year ago by Daniel Gooch and has played both at local venues, such as the Churchill Theatre, Bromley, and abroad in Germany and The Netherlands. They play a range of repertoire, with favourites including Witch Hunt by Ulrich Schultheiss and Ulla in Africa by Heiner Wiberny. Three of the quartet members will be starting university in September although they intend to still play together.

Players: Bethany Pointer (soprano), Claire Newson (alto), Richard Moulange (tenor), Oscar Smith (baritone).

2pm Nkomba

Nkomba are a contemporary African folk band who play an energetic mixture of Malawian folk songs and African roots music. Nkomba are: Ron Nkomba - Guitar/Mandolin/Vocals; Tom Hughes - Guitar /Violin/Vocals; George Wilson Bass; Armeet Panesar Drums/Trombone/Tabla/Percussion.
