Herne Hill United Church
Featuring cello, saxophone and piano Fuzion Trio play arrangements of jazz standards, light classical pieces and Latin music, ranging from Bach, and Gershwin to Adele and Astor Piazzolla. Angie (cello) is a classically trained cellist who also plays in a number of established London orchestras. Ollie (saxophone) and Bob (piano) play jazz, soul, and in jazz big bands. The Trio was set up in South London three years ago. The performance will include their own arrangements of music by Bach (Prelude No. 1 in C major), Piazzolla (Libertango), Albinoni (Adagio in G minor), Pachelbel (Canon), Zawinul (Mercy Mercy) and Jimmy Van Heusen (Come Fly with me).website of Fuzion Trio

The Fabulous Honeys - South London’s sweetest big band
We are an eighteen-piece big band, playing classic tunes from the swing era and arrangements of more contemporary tunes. Our repertoire includes songs made famous by the giants of jazz including Count Basie, Duke Ellington, Benny Goodman and Louis Armstrong. St Faith's Church
The Evensong at will be at St. Faith's Church this year. Imperial College Choir, Musical Director William Glendinning, will sing the Evensong, with hymns to be sung by the congregation. The preacher will be Revd Anthony Buckley, Honorary Curate at St Barnabas and Chaplain of Alleyn's School.details

Head's Up, and anyone who wants to play.
The regular Monday Jazz Jam features in our programme again this year. The house band, Head's Up, led by Roger Humbles, will entertain you and provide backing to any aspiring jazzers who would like to display their skills or just gain experience. Come and play, or just relax and enjoy a great evening.
Special guest - Ed Jones, saxophone
If you join in the jam you will have the great opportunity to share the stage with one of the country's leading saxophonists, Ed Jones.
Ed has been playing in the UK and internationally for over 25 years and his forceful imagination and sometimes volcanic tenor sound have been a major feature of the scene. His diverse interests have led to work with many international stars including Herbie Hancock, Tina Turner, Aswad, George Benson and Alison Moyet.
