Charity Concert for 'Practical Action'

The Konvalia Quartet members are Alina Hiltunen and Agata Kubiak (violins), Raisa Yordanova Zapryanova (viola) and Andrea Derdak (cello). The quartet’s international background (Finland, Poland, Bulgaria and Hungary) influences their interpretations of new and canonical chamber repertoire. The quartet has performed at some of the London's popular venues such as the Royal Festival Hall, the Cadogan Hall, the Houses of Parliament, and the Ealing Jazz Festival.
The Quartet specialises in post romantic and contemporary music and has performed world premieres of pieces by Simon Rigby, Martin Jones, Bartosz Szafranski, Martin Glover. The group took part in the Classical Music Hyper Production research project at Kings Place in 2015, and played in the Shostakovich-in-Motion project in 2016.
