Opal Flutes

Formed in 2008, Opal Flutes is a friendly mixed-ability flute choir based in East Dulwich. Incorporating piccolos, alto and bass flutes as well as the usual 'c' flute, the group performs a wide range of repertoire, from classical to pop, and everything in between! They recently launched their YouTube channel and now include virtual performances as a regular part of their activities, along with 2 or 3 live concerts a year.

Norwood and Brixton Foodbank

The Food Bank thinks no one in our community should have to face going hungry. Thatís why it provides three daysí nutritionally balanced emergency food and support to local people in crisis who are referred to them. They are part of a nationwide network of food banks, supported by The Trussell Trust, working to combat poverty and hunger across the UK.

Our local MP, Helen Hayes, will talk briefly about its work, and encourage you to give generously to the collection of funds for the Foodbank.
