Practical Action

Practical Action is an international development charity with a difference. Founded by the radical economist and philosopher Fritz Schumacher, author of 'Small is beautiful', the charity knows that the simplest ideas can have the most profound, life-changing effect. For over 40 years, it has been working with some of the world’s poorest people, using appropriate technology to fight poverty and transform lives for the better. This concert is promoted by the charity’s SE London Group of supporters (paselgroup@yahoo.co.uk).
